Bio: Judson Barber is an independent scholar. He completed his Ph.D. in the Department of American Studies at The University of Texas at Austin in 2022. His dissertation, "Geographies of Confinement: America’s Carceral Bulwark, 1973-2022" examines the economic and cultural effects of prison building in the United States throughout the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. |
