Bio: Lesley Feracho is Associate Professor in the Department of Romance Languages and the Associate Director of the Institute of African-American Studies. Her current research and publications examine transnational, literary and cultural texts of women writers of African descent from the Hispanophone and Lusophone Americas. Her first book, Linking the Americas:Race, Hybrid Discourses and the Reformulation of Feminine Identity, was published by SUNY Press in 2005. |
