Bio: Received my PhD (!990) from the Committee on Social Thought, University of Chicago. Taught at Colgate University 1989-1992. Been at University of North Texas since 1993. Was Department Chair 2010-2014. Have published articles in the American Political Science Review, American Journal of Politics, Review of Politics, and contributed chapters to History of American Political Thought; Principle and Prudence in Western Political Thought; Liberty, Democracy, and the Temptations to Tyranny in the Dialogues of Plato; Political Philosophy and the Human Soul; Recovering Reason. |
