Bio: Charlotte specializes in South Asian art history and archaeology of the ancient and early medieval periods. A doctoral candidate at Columbia University in Art History, her dissertation re-evaluates the sculptures from the early Buddhist stupa of Bhārhut. She is interested in religious themes and narratives as evolving discourses within images, sites, and textual sources. Charlotte received a BA in South Asian Religions from Bard College and an MA in the History of Art from SOAS, University of London. |
