Bio: Mónica is a third-year doctoral student in Iberian and Latin American Literatures and Cultures at the University of Texas in Austin. Her current research project focuses on the culinary imaginaries of Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. She is a Spanish Instructor at the University of Texas at Austin and works as Food Access Associate for the Texas Farmers Market. |
