Bio: As an anthropologist, I am interested in the anthropology of mining inscribed in global integration processes of artisanal miners in supply chains. My fieldwork is inherently global as it tackles the fluidity of cobalt materials and joins companies around the world in the development of "reponsible sourcing" projects. As a professional I specializes on minerals traceability and corporate efforts to promote sustainable raw commodities supply chains. I work with brand companies to support their due diligence efforts and advocate for a more discussions between academia, non profits and the industry. I have also been mentioned in Bloomberg, Gartner and Le Monde amount others. I hold an MA in International Relations from Sciences Po Lyon, France, an MA in African Studies from Stanford University, United States, an LLM in African Legal Studies from Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University, France and an MA in Anthropology at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), Paris. I am now pursuing a PhD in anthropology at the University of British Columbia. |
