Bio: Borislav Chernev has lectured in Modern European History at the universities of Exeter and Newcastle in the United Kingdom, and at the the American University in Washington, DC, where he was awarded a PhD in History in 2013. His work has appeared in The International History Review and Diplomacy & Statecraft. He is the author of 'Twilight of Empire: The Brest-Litovsk Conference and the Remaking of East-Central Europe, 1917-1918' (University of Toronto Press, 2017), which received Honourable Mention for the 2018 Marshall D. Shulman Prize awarded annually by the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies for the best monograph dealing with international relations, foreign policy, or foreign-policy decision-making of any of the states of the former Soviet Union or Eastern Europe. He currently lives in England. |
