Bio: Jenna Nigro is a historian of modern France and Senegal. Her research and teaching focus on the history of global connections, exchanges, and power relations, and in particular on modern European imperialism. Her current book project is a study of French experimentation with various colonial practices in Senegal from 1763 to 1870. |
