Bio: I am currently an adjunct professor in history at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. My doctoral degree is in (post-1789) modern European history, with an emphasis on Germany, France, and Great Britain. My research interests include Weimar and National Socialist Germany, the history of medicine, ethnic cleansing and genocide from a social/cultural perspective. I have published a monograph entitled "In Search of 'Aryan Blood': Seroanthropology in Weimar and National Socialist Germany" (Central European University Press, 2012), which explores the early attempts of German physicians and researchers to establish a link between "race" and blood type. |
