Bio: I am currently executive officer of Asian Studies at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. My responsibilities include preparing grant proposals, implementing new projects, advising students, organizing conferences and other events, and conducting teacher workshops and school outreach. I previously worked as development director at the International Institute of Buffalo, executive director of Buffalo/Niagara WorldConnect, codirector of Eurasia Policy Studies and managing editor at The National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR), and Russian language teacher at The Northwest School (Seattle) and Calasanctius School (Buffalo). I earned a BA in Russian language and literature from Dartmouth College and an MA in Russian studies from the University of Washington. |
