Bio: I am currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Chicago working on criminal law in the Massachusetts Bay colony during the 17th century. I previously completed a J.D. from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in history from California State University, San Bernardino. In addition to my research on criminal law in the British Empire I have also written in the areas of judicial interpretation and legal theory. I have started a new research project on the relationship of non-Abrahamic religions to the First Amendment, especially on conceptual differences on what constitutes a religion between devotees and administrative authorities. |
