Gary Donaldson Xavier University of Louisiana Xavier University of Louisiana African American History World History Location: New Orleans, Louisiana Institution Type: College/University Position Type: Assistant Professor African American History. The Department of History at Xavier University of Louisiana invites applications for a tenure track position in African American History. The primary teaching responsibilities will include both halves of the African American and the world civilizations surveys, with opportunities to teach other upper level courses in area of specialty. Course load is twelve hours per semester. Ph.D. and teaching experience preferred, but qualified ABDs will be considered. Xavier University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
