Ibrahim H. Hassan University of Jos won a post-Doctotal Fellowship to write a book on "The Thoughts of Sokoto Scholars on Development" Commissioned by the ACLS - African Humanities Programme before then I was always working on he Raligion and Development (RaD) Prgramme of the University of Birmingham I am also veru interested in the issues of migration because I wrote a paper on Islami migration and I am concerned with the migration and settlement discourse in Jos my city of residence. |

A research made up of a series of interconnected projects taking place between 2005 and 2010 The overall question addressed by this project is: how are people's religious values and beliefs reflected in their attitudes towards key development issues, their perceptions, experience and pursuit of wellbeing, and their attitudes towards corruption? In addition to the above two publications we’ve attended capacity building workshops at Jos (in March) and another at Ibadan (August) and commenced field work in August - An ethnographic studies consisting of Semi-structured interviews which would result in many other publications. ii.
