Bio: I was awarded my PhD by the University of Strathclyde for my thesis 'The experience and representation of disability in nineteenth-century Scotland'. I am Reviews Editor for H-Disability. I am a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Selected publications: 'A History of Disability in Nineteenth-century Scotland' (2007); Feeling Our History: The experience of Blindness and Sight Loss in Edwardian Edinburgh, The Lothians and the Scottish Borders (2015); 'Child Health in Scotland: A History of Glasgow's Royal Hospital for Sick Children (2016).
