Bio: M. Carmen Gómez Galisteo holds a Ph.D. (sobresaliente cum laude) from the Universidad de Alcalá (Madrid, Spain). She is the author of The Wind is Never Gone: Sequels, Parodies and Rewritings of Gone With the Wind (McFarland, 2011) and Early Visions and Representations of America: Alvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca’s Naufragios and William Bradford’s Of Plymouth Plantation (Bloomsbury, 2013). She currently teaches at UNED (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia) in Madrid (Spain). |
