Bio: I have a BA from Angelo State University, 1970, an MA from the University of Virginia, 1972, and was ABD when I entered public history. I have worked on documentary editing projects, written and reviewed for scholarly and non-scholarly journals, and published articles on the historiography of Virginia. I have been moderator (with John T. Kneebone from 1994 to 2002) of Va-Hist, the very first state electronic history discussion list that the Library of Virginia operates and also (with Daphne S. Gentry from 1995 to 2000) of Va-Roots, the very first state electronic discussion list for Virginia genealogy that the Library of Virginia operates. |
