Peter P. Mickulas <petermickulas@gmail.com> New Jersey Historical Commission I am interested in exploring the history of the cultural resource management profession (historic preservation, historic landscape studies, development of state and national registers of historic places) since the passage of the National Historic Preservation Act in 1966. I am interested in such endeavors as examples of local public history efforts - by academically trained professionals (historians, conservationists, architectural historians, employees of various park services) as well as by local communities. My focus, given my current paid employment and my listserv duties, would be on the state of New Jersey. |
