Baron <nick.baron@nottingham.ac.uk> University of Nottingham I work on Modern European political, cultural and economic history, historiography and historical geography, with a special interest in Russia and the Soviet Union. My current research activities include the following: - Research Project "Population Displacement, State-Building and Social Identity in the Lands of the Former Russian Empire, 1918-1930" (to October 2004) - Research project: "Mapping the Soviet: Soviet Cartography and the Construction of Stalinist Space, 1917-1941." - Co-editing the book series 'Population Displacement and Political Space', published by Anthem Press, UK. |
