Bio: Books-in-progress: Queer and Present Dangers: Masculinity, Sexual Revolutions, and the New Left and Out of the Sixties: the New Left Origins of Gay Liberation (contracts pending for both). Ph.D., 2003, Duke University, Dept. of History. I am currently serving as a Franklin Teaching Fellow & Temporary Assistant Professor in the Dept. of History at the University of Georgia, after having taught at Duke & N.C. State Universities. I also have affiliate faculty status in Women's Studies at UGA. Articles published in "Radical History Review" (2004), "Peace and Change" (2004), and the anthologies, "The New Left Revisited" (2003) and "Modern American Queer History" (2001). Conference paper presentations include: American Historical Association, Organization of American Historians, Oral History Association, American Studies Association, Peace History Society, the Future of the Queer Past, and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Creating Change conference. Professional Service: Peace History Society Executive Board, 2003-2006; 2003 PHS Conference Co-Chair; Committee on Lesbian & Gay History, Newsletter Book Review Editor.
