Fulbrights: Lubumbashi 1972-73, Bujumbura 1986. NSF conference grant 1986 which led to (Boulder, 1990). Elected to International Union for the Scientific Study of Population, 1991. Organized planning conference, 1999 and mortality panels for the 2000 meeting of the International Congress of Historical Sciences. |
